Can you download and play the Pokemon go game in Nigeria and all Africa?

OK, first of all let me try it before I update you…I just did and the screenshot below is the response I got from the game.




Anyway, its official that the Pokeman go game isn’t available in Nigeria and Africa yet. As a matter of fact, as at the time of writing this, the game is rolled out only in the US, New Zealand, and Australia, but they are preparing to launch across Europe and Asia as well.

But how can you play it?

My Impression of the first marshmallow device from Tecno Mobile

Tecno released their first marshmallows device into the market just of a recent. The Tecno w4 which is a low end device running a unique kind of HiOS on Android 6.0 marshmallows is beautiful to behold. The phone packs decent specs and features which are handy for a device of it types. In this review I will taking us through some features of the device and why it's a very good low end phone among its counterparts

Design and display

One of the attention pullers of the Tecno w4 is its gorgeous design complemented with a metallic infusion around its edges. Everybody who saw the device from my hands eventually fall in love with the design. I have seen the Tecno Boom J8 which is a master class, the w4 also doesn't disappoint in its appearance.

Design
With a 5.0 HD IPS Display, pictures look sharper and colorful, there's a Miracast that enhances the visual experience on the Tecno w4. I put some of my favourite Full HD video on the Tecno w4 to test the fluidity, I didn't experience any distortion or lag while playing those videos.

Portable and easy to hold
The Tecno w4 is very light and can be held in the hands comfortably. Most of my devices are 5.5 inches, so this feel so portable in my hands.

Camera
It has an 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera with flash. The rear camera has good low light photography but the output is average, good for social media sharing. The front camera is is not so good, if you are the selfie types you may not really like the camera, though the front camera has a wider angle selfie camera and beautification effect

Software and performance
since this a low end device, I am not expecting a stellar kind of performance from this phone. It comes with a HiOS running on Android 6.0 marshmallows, 1GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory and a quad core MediTek processor.  The RAM operation is good, way better than most 1GB RAM phones out there thanks to the HiOS and Android 6.0 marshmallows on the device.

Battery
One of the things people consider when looking for a phone to buy is the battery capacity though higher battery capacity doesn't lead to good battery life. The battery capacity on the Tecno W4 is 2500mAh which is very small when you consider most phones now come with around 3000mAh.  I put the battery to the test, I used the phone as my primary calling phone, used Wi-Fi, played music and videos, light games and little browsing. Guess what? The battery is so good. If you want to buy this phone and you are discouraged because of the battery size, I want to tell you that this phone battery is a beast. I am thinking the android marshmallows and the HiOS has made this possible. I will give this battery 9/10

In conclusion, Tecno W4 is another beautiful phone from Tecno Mobile. I like the design, the themes and wallpapers are really amazing, lots of them on this phone. The battery is what really surprised me because it lasts like a 3600mAh battery. Few things still need improvement on the HiOS, no lockscreen notification and putting your apps on a folder is not that easy. Overall it's a very good device
